INSPIRING WOMAN

I confess myself addicted to TV shows... 
For some reason I just love them and I can't stop doing so. I guess that I like to see the storys of different characters and how in the end all of them end up having a happy life, maybe not the one they had planed but definitely a happy life.
Of all the TV shows that I have seen (belive me, I see and I have seen a lot) these four woman stand out from all the others.
These woman have turned to be in some way my role models: Summer Roberts, Naomi Clark, Blair Waldorf and Brooke Davis... 
They all share the passion for fashion, they are also fashion icons to many people and they have reached their dreams.
But beyond that they are STRONG and POWERFUL woman. They show the world that despite the challenges that life brings you everything is possible and that as long as you fight for what you want there will be no limits. 
In their shows they are always overcoming any obstacle that life brings to them, and yes, they also suffer but as I said, they manage their way into happiness every time.
When it comes to boys and love they have shown me that no boy is worth your tears and that suffering is optional. Of them I've learned that moving on is the best thing you can do, or at least try to do, also that when love knocks on the door you have to be fearless and open to it, because true love does not knock often (and here I am... quoting Brooke)
And for these and many other reasons I find these four woman amazing... even that they are fake people and just characters on a TV show, I get really inspired by them and I must thank the people who created them and the ones that bring them to life...

LIFE IS JUST A PIECE OF CAKE!

Every time that I look at this picture I fall in love with it all over again...

I love how happy Mariana and I look in this photo, plus the whole preppy, cute and girly theme add a bit more of beauty to the image. I guess that it reminds me the whole meaning of friendship and specially the of the way Mariana and I get along!

The PERFECT shoulder bag

I just saw this perfect shoulder bag ans I fell in love with it. Of course it had to be Missoni... 

There is something about this bag that makes me love it and desire it every time that I see it. I have no idea what it is, maybe the perfect color palette, the chain, the metallic touches.

The HEM skirt

This season we are coming a lot across with hem skirts that have a high-low cut. Personally I can't stop loving them. They look so chic and they are easy to mix into any style and almost for every ocation. I have definitely put a hem skirt (high low skirt) in my shopping list for this spring summer!

Here we are again, starting a new week and the start of spring ( yaaaay! )... I figured that wearing a TRIBAL top would do wonders for welcoming this season and the new trends....

SPOT THE TREND: PASTELS!

Spring is just arriving and so are the trends for this season... here it is one of the most seen trends on the runways for the SS12 collections... PASTELS!

This trend uses all kinds of soft colors including mint green, peppy coral, icy blue, creamy yellow, lavender, soft pink, peach and more. 

Here are a couple styling tips for pulling this trend together: 

*Wear nude or metallic shoes

*Contrast bold colors and create a pastel color blocking look

*Pair pastels with neutral colors such as taupe, white, khaki, camel and gray

*Wear pastels over the day

*If you feel like this trend is too girly for you, mix black into the outfit

*Add patterns to the look, like florals, sequins, and lace

SodayMIEL is a Mexican brand created by Fernanda Gonzalez. 
SodayMIEL is definided by the concept that Fernanda has about woman. She says that every woman has a "Soda" side, which can be described as an outgoing woman who likes to innovate her person and who is not afraid to try something new and different, but she also says that every woman has her "Miel" side which is better described as the sweet, conservative and femenine woman.
When she thought of mixing the two concepts,  SodayMIEL  arised.  SodayMIEL  is a brand that highlights both sides of every woman with a casual, feminine and trendy style. This identifies the label from others. 
Personally I loved the concept of  SodayMIEL  since the first time that I saw it, that is the reason why I wanted to share it with you... Here I will post some pictures of her last lookbook.

One of the most featured trends for this Spring Summer season is wearing an outfit where the main an only color is WHITE. Marni proposed this trend on their show and honestly I loved this look. Here is my way of pulling it together, I would personally change the black and white flats for a white sandals... but then again that is just the way I like it. This look is so chic, trendy and affordable for anyone out there... so go ahead and try this trend... remember is all about WHITE!

HELLO SPRING

Spring is just around the corner and the weather starts to feel like the beggining of such a nice time filled with sunny days, flowers and lots lots of fun... well and of course lots of fashion!! Here is an outfit for this days, the first days of spring when you can still fill a bit the cold from winter but you already see the first sights of spring.
