Happy Halloween

I know I have been out of the blue a lot lately, but this couple of weeks have been killing me!! I had exams and belive me they were soo hard, then I wasnt feeling good with myself and I had a lot of projects that were due on those weeks and all of that combined left me with NO time for my blog.
I am so glad to be back, I missed it soo much!!
Anyways I am posting now a Halloween costume the fashion way.

Chic Monday

So tomorrow is Monday, probably one of the most hated days of the week, it means the end of the weekend and the start of a quite complicated week. Because of this I thought that I needed to make something that will cheer my Monday up, and why not? FASHION.
This is an outfit that I find pretty chic, stylish and worthy of the fall season...

My birthday

Yesterday I turned 17 and it was a pretty awesome birthday!

From all the holidays there are, without a doubt my birthday is my favorite. 

I always expect the best of days every October 7 and yesterday all my friends and family made charge not to disappoint me.

My friends Jimena and Mariana surprised me early in the morning with a lovely cake surrounded by cupcakes, a balloon, some pictures and lots of candies. My sisters gave me something I really wanted, a pair of faux snake skin flats. My parents gave me a new IPod touch and my aunt pair of boots... all of my gifts were amazing. And I haven’t listed yet all the amazing details my friends and family did.

Without a doubt a had a great day, I am thankful for the people that surrounds me, the great year I had and for you guys that keep me and this blog moving. I wished for them to stay around and to keep having a great (or a better) life like the one I already have.

Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week, spring 2012

Yesterday Louis Vuitton fashion show for the Spring 2012 collection took place in Paris Fashion Week.

The creative designer Marc Jacobs showed an outstanding collection for the spring season. The garments weren’t the only thing that has the whole fashion world talking, but also the particular way of his catwalk.

The fashion show had as scenery of a carousel and models walked in circles (as you can see in the video) and the top model Kate Moss closed the show. The scenery matched perfectly the proposal for the collection.

We can spot a pale color scale in the collection as well as flowers, dresses, pencil skirts, coats and a sweet, soft and romantic look. We can also appreciate a lot of metallics in the shoes and pale colored purses.

THE UPPER EAST SIDE IT GIRLS

We all have seen them in "Gossip Girl", we all have seen them in Red Carpets, we all know these womans are worldwide Fashion Icons, we all have wished at least once to be like them.
These woman, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester represent Serena Van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl. With their lifes full of luxury, fashion and style they make Gossip Girl one of my favorites tv shows of all. 
These two characters (Blair and Serena) would be almost as nothing (when it comes to style) without the great mind of Eric Daman (Gossip Girl Costume Designer). He has turned the tv show into one of the most fashionable shows there are on air at the time. And has made become everysingle character in Gossip Girl a style icon to many, and a fashion figure that so many people admire and desire their style.
As demostrated over the past 4 seasons Eric Daman brinds a desired costume to the set of the fifth season of Gossip Girl. 
With just two chapters in the air we can find the great styles that have been identying the personalities of Blair and Serena over the TV Show.
This fifth season promises much drama, luxury, fashion, style and personalities that day by day become more famous and well recognized.

ITS ALL ABOUT ROMANCE!

The Mexican designer Alexa Ulibarri showed her collection at the Mercedes Benz DFashion in Mexico City last week.

Her collection shows romanticism and a pale color scale.

In my opinion this collection is absolutely perfect. It might be because I am a girly girl but if there is something that everyone i looking for in spring is for a little sweetness and romance, Alexia Ulibarri´s collection gives it all for those dreamers.
